This is a progress post for what I have done so far for my photojournalism project. I started to send out feelers and try and get in contact with the Mayor about my article idea. This is the evidence to support my efforts and an update on the progress of my project.

On the 4th March, I sent the Lord Mayor of Sheffield an email outlining my idea for the feature:

I received this reply about a week later:

After not hearing anything more for another week or so, I sent the following message:

Today I received the following:

As I have not heard anything apart from these messages, I have decided to start looking for possible sources and people to talk to for my second idea, just in case nothing comes from this idea.

I am quite disappointed as I was excited about this idea, however my back-up plan is also something I am excited to begin work on.

As I start work on my climbing project, I will post updates with my progress.
